This partnership aims to support the state's jackfruit farmers by enabling them to create value-added products from the fruit.
With an impressive annual production of 3.15 million tonnes, Odisha stands as the leading jackfruit producer in India. The collaboration seeks not only to increase the income of local farmers but also to broaden the reach of jackfruit-based products both within India and internationally.
The state government underscores the role of innovation in agriculture, focusing on creating a strong framework for processing and exporting jackfruit products.
This partnership is expected to generate better revenue, foster skill development, and create new job opportunities within Odisha’s agricultural sector.
