Balasore, May 6: At least 20 passengers were injured, including four seriously, when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch near Balasore town in Odisha on Tuesday, officials reported.
The bus, carrying around 40 passengers and heading to Balasore from Bhograi, collided with a tractor near the Nuniajori Bridge on the town's outskirts. Following the collision, the bus veered off the main road and fell into a water-filled ditch, according to police.
Upon receiving information, local police and rescue teams promptly reached the scene and began rescue operations.
