New Delhi, September 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the New Delhi Declaration adopted at the 18th BRICS Summit will provide clear direction for the grouping’s shared vision and future cooperation.

In his concluding remarks at the two-day summit at Bharat Mandapam, Modi said BRICS had evolved into an “ecosystem of solutions” and stressed the need to translate the summit’s outcomes intotime-bound actions with last-mile impact.
“The world now expects concrete results from us, not just ideas and commitments,” Modi said, expressing confidence that BRICS would meet these expectations as it enters its third decade.
Addressing the session on inclusive global growth, Modi highlighted initiatives including theBRICS Logistics Supply Chain Cooperation Framework, BRICS Incubator Network, Startup Innovation Fund and Digital Agriculture Network.
He also warned that the weaponisation of technology and critical minerals could hinder shared progress and called for greater inclusivity in technology adoption.
The New Delhi Declaration, unanimously adopted by BRICS leaders on Saturday, stressed the need for reliable, diversified and resilient critical-mineral supply chains while recognising the sovereign rights of resource-rich countries over their resources.

Modi said the summit reflected a BRICS that is“wider in reach and stronger in purpose”and wished China success as the next host of the grouping.
