Nabarangpur, June 28: In a heartbreaking incident, three brothers lost their lives in a devastating road accident in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district. The victims, identified as Sagar Jain, Ankur Jain, and Krish Jain were all from Siraguda Sahi in Jharigaon and had been travelling to Pufugaon when the tragedy occurred.
According to reports, the vehicle they were in veered out of control and crashed into a tree near Dainiguda, along the Jharigaon–Dabugaon main road. The impact was so severe that Sagar and Ankur died instantly at the scene. Krish, who sustained critical injuries, passed away near Salur Ghat while being rushed to Visakhapatnam for treatment.
After a post-mortem was conducted at the Jharigaon Medical Centre, the final rites for all three were held on Friday. In a rare and profoundly emotional gesture, the three young men were cremated together on a single funeral pyre. The joint cremation ceremony left the entire village in deep mourning, with relatives, friends, and locals coming together to grieve the immense loss.
