Bhubaneswar, Jan 2: Mourning the tragic death of a minor boy in Puri Town on Friday in a road mishap, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi granted an ex-gratia worth Rs 4 lakh to the bereaved family.
On being informed on the demise of the minor boy identified as Shreyansh Dey, the CM expressed profound grief over the incident and urged the parents to have patience.
Taking to X, the Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and announced an ex-gratia assistance of ₹4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to the rest of kin of the deceased.
