Bhubaneswar, Jul 28: Shocking videos have surfaced showing a Class Xth student, Priyanshu Sekhar Behera, being allegedly threatened and physically assaulted by a group of young women at a public park in Baramunda, just days before he went missing. The footage has intensified suspicions that the teenager may have been abducted, while police are yet to trace him nearly a month after his disappearance.

In one of the videos, the women can be heard threatening the minor, saying, "Tell us... did you make a mistake or not? Admit that you gave a flying kiss. Speak quickly, or we won't spare you. We'll beat you to death. You don't know my uncle. We'll trap you in such a way that you'll spend your entire life behind bars." They allegedly slapped the boy repeatedly while recording the incident on their mobile phones.

The videos, reportedly recorded at a park in Baramunda during the evening, show Priyanshu sitting on a cement bench. A woman dressed in orange is seen shouting at and repeatedly slapping the teenager, while another woman in blue is also allegedly seen assaulting and threatening him. Despite the incident taking place in a public park with several bystanders present, no one is seen intervening to stop the assault.

Priyanshu's mother is initially seen sitting silently beside her son. Later, she is seen pleading with the women to stop, but the alleged harassment continues. The exact reason behind the confrontation remains unknown. Investigators believe the incident occurred one or two days before Priyanshu disappeared, prompting speculation that the assault and his subsequent disappearance may be connected.

The emergence of the videos has added a new dimension to the missing person investigation. Police are now facing questions over whether Priyanshu may have been abducted after the incident. Reports indicate that the women seen in the videos are likely to be summoned for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation.

Priyanshu, a resident of Baramunda and a Class X student, went missing on June 30 after leaving his home. His family searched extensively before filing a missing person complaint at Bharatpur Police Station five days later. CCTV footage reportedly showed him boarding a bus from CRP Square and getting off at Master Canteen in Bhubaneswar. Since then, there has been no trace of the teenager, and the investigation continues.
