Angul, February 12: A minor boy sustained critical injuries on Wednesday after he was shot at by a miscreant in Angul.

The incident took place at Sanakerjang village under the Nisha Industrial Police limit today.

According to report, the minor boy was standing infront of his house. Meanwhile, he was shot at by a miscreant in his leg.

On being alarmed of the incident, the boy's mother and locals rushed him to the hospital for treatment. Later, he was shifted to Cuttack due to his critical nature of injuries.

The Nisha police have registered a complaint in this connection.

Investigation into the case is underway, said the police.
