IHM Bhubaneswar recently hosted a culinary workshop that had chefs buzzing with excitement. It wasn't about fancy foams or molecular gastronomy - this was a celebration of "Diversity in Millets and Forgotten Food," a two-day deep dive into the world of sustainable and nutritious grains.
From Taj to Trident: Top Chefs Answer the Call

Thirty-two chefs from 21 of Bhubaneswar's finest hotels, including big names like Hotel Taj Vivanta, Trident, Excellency, Empire, Bhojan, Pal Heights, Swosti Grand, Swosti Premium, OTDC, Nimantran, Bocca Café, New Marrion, Pramod Resorts, Chhapan Bhog, Taj Puri, to name a few, rolled up their sleeves to learn the secrets of millets and forgotten foods. The goal? To bring these healthy, versatile ingredients to the forefront of their menus.
A Flavorful Journey Led by Experts
IHM Bhubaneswar's Principal kicked things off, highlighting the health benefits and culinary potential of millets. The chefs then embarked on a hands-on culinary adventure, guided by expert trainers who showed them how to transform these humble grains into dishes that tantalize the taste buds.
