Koraput, Dec 4: Panic gripped the residents of Koraput and Malkangiri after mild tremors were felt today morning.
The tremor was felt at 07.27 am at Damanjodi in Koraput district. A similar situation was also felt in neighbouring Bijapur and Sukma of Chhattisgarh. However, no loss of lives and properties has been reported.

According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the tremor of 5.3 magnitude was recorded at around 7:27 am on Wednesday and was centred around the Mulugu region at a depth of 40 km
