Bhubaneswar, July 10: Former IAS Officer, Manoj Kumar Mohanty has been inducted as a member of the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Saturday.
The Governor of Odisha has approved the retired IAS Officer’s appointment as an OPSC member.
Earlier, Manoj Kumar Mohanty worked as Additional Secretary to the Government in the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, Odisha.
According to a notification issued in this connection, Mohanty will serve as OPSC member for a term of six years from the date he assumes office or until he attains the age of 62 years, whichever is earlier.
Worth mentioning, Professor Mihir Prasad Mishra of Puri SCS College and a renowned academician was appointed as a member of the OPSC earlier in May. Similarly, retired IAS Office Uday Narayan Das, was also inducted to the OPSC, as a valued member.
