Delhi, May 10: With a sigh of relief amid a combative faceoff that continued from over last three days, India and Pakistan have agreed for complete ceasefire on Saturday evening.
After an amicable proposal raised by the DGMO Pakistan Army, India has agreed to stop its war against terrorism temporarily, at least up to two days.
However, DGMO-level talks between India and Pakistan will be held on May 12, to resolve the emerging issues relating to the confrontation of the two neighboring nations.
The Director Generals of Military Operation(DGMO) of both sides spoke at 3.35 pm today, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said.
During the significant call the DGMO, Pakistan army laid his proposal to go for complete ceasefire till further discussion on amicable settlement.India, on the other hand accepted it and agreed to ceasefire from 5PM on Saturday.
However, an hour before the ceasefire announcement came, India said any future act of terror by Pakistan will be considered an act of war, and India will respond accordingly.
