They also control Left-Wing Extremism by working seamlessly with local state police divisions. Over the decades, the organization structured specialized wings to handle complex emergencies. CoBRA commandos execute high-risk jungle warfare operations. Rapid Action Force units train specifically to manage riots and control aggressive crowds. Furthermore, dedicated Mahila Battalions proudly demonstrate strong female leadership in active combat zones.

Protecting Key Infrastructure and Democracy

Troops actively secure important political structures, including the Indian parliament. They also guard highly sensitive religious shrines that require intense security protocols. Beyond direct combat situations, these teams assist with national elections to guarantee safe, fair voting environments for millions. They routinely provide immediate disaster relief during floods and cyclones. This annual observance honors their endless courage and dedication to national security.
