In a shocking turn of events, India suffered a dramatic batting collapse on Day 2 of the first Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru, being bundled out for a paltry 46 runs. This marks India's lowest-ever Test score on home soil, eclipsing their previous nadir of 75 all out against West Indies in Delhi back in 1987.

The Indian batting lineup collapsed with the onslaught from the New Zealand bowlers. Matt Henry spearheaded the attack with a magnificent five-wicket haul, while William O'Rourke wreaked havoc with four wickets of his own. Tim Southee also chipped in with a wicket as the Kiwis ran riot.
