Cuttack, March 22: With a major reshuffle at SCB Medical College & Hospital Cuttack, owing to the tragic fire mishap, the Odisha government has appointed new Dean & Superintendent in the facility on Sunday.

The Odisha Health & Family Welfare Department issued a notification in this connection today.

According to the notification, Prof. Dr Pratibha Panda has been appointed as Dean & Principal of the SCB Medical College & Hospital.

With it, Prof. Dr Lucy Das has been transferred, after the fatal fire mishap in the Trauma ICU.

Prof. (Dr.) Lucy Das, Dean & Principal, SCB MC, Cuttack, is posted against the vacant post of Professor, CTVS, SCB MCH, Cuttack and she is allowed to work in the Department of O & G, SCB MCH, Cuttack.

Similarly, Prof. Jyotish Chathendra Choudhury has been posted as Superintendent of the Medical College Hospital, read the notification.
