Odisha Information Service Association Mourns Demise of Koraput DIPRO Swarajya Sisa

The Odisha Information Service Association has expressed profound grief over the untimely demise of Swarajya Sisa, District Information and Public Relations Officer (DIPRO), Koraput, who passed away on Wednesday morning.

Bhubaneswar, June 25: The Odisha Information Service Association has expressed profound grief over the untimely demise of Swarajya Sisa, District Information and Public Relations Officer (DIPRO), Koraput, who passed away on Wednesday morning.

Shri Sisa had been battling Parkinson’s disease, a chronic neurological disorder, for several years. He was 42.

Following the sad news, a condolence meeting was organized at the headquarters of the Information and Public Relations Department in Bhubaneswar. Director of Information and Public Relations, Anuj Kumar Das Pattnaik, along with senior officers and staff members of the department, paid floral tributes to the departed officer and observed a one-minute silence, praying for the eternal peace of his soul.

The Odisha Information Service Association also conveyed its heartfelt condolences and paid tribute to Shri Sisa. Office-bearers and members of the association offered floral tributes to his photograph and prayed for the salvation of his soul.

District Information and Public Relations Officers from various districts across the state expressed their sorrow over his passing and extended sympathies to his bereaved family, including his wife and elderly father.

A native of Patkhamara village under Similiguda Block in Koraput district, Sisa had a distinguished career in the Information and Public Relations Department. He served as Sub-Divisional Information and Public Relations Officer (SDIPRO) at Bhanjanagar and later at Kuchinda. Subsequently, he held the position of District Information and Public Relations Officer in Deogarh and Gajapati districts.

Since 2022, Sisa had been serving as the DIPRO of Koraput, where he continued to discharge his responsibilities with dedication and commitment until his last breath.

His untimely demise has created a deep void in the Information and Public Relations fraternity, and he will be remembered for his sincere service and professional dedication.
