+2 exams conclude today; CHSE to begin evaluation from April 2

Bhubaneswar, March 25: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) conducted +2 examinations will conclude on Wednesday. With the exams coming to an end, the board has initiated preparations for speedy evaluation and timely publication of results.

According to senior CHSE officials, the evaluation of answer scripts will commence from April 2 and will be carried out in two phases. The entire evaluation process is expected to be completed by the end of April, with results likely to be declared in May.

As per official sources, the first phase of evaluation will be conducted from April 2 to April 13, followed by the second phase from April 15 to April 28. The process will be undertaken in both offline and online modes.

Around 8,000 teachers will be engaged in each phase, taking the total number of evaluators to 16,000. A total of 151 evaluation centres are being set up across the state to facilitate the assessment of nearly 25 lakh answer sheets.

The board has also ensured strict security arrangements at all evaluation centres. In view of the rising heat, adequate facilities including drinking water and other essential amenities will be provided to the evaluators. CHSE has set a target to publish the results in May.
