The vessels are transporting various cargos, with Maha Aarti carrying thermal coal and Osirini 2 loaded with oil. In response to the situation, local authorities have issued a high alert at the port to ensure the safety and security of the area.

Amid ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, local officials have implemented strict surveillance protocols.

Immigration authorities have expressed concerns, while the Coast Guard, Customs Department, and Port Authority have been notified to closely monitor the situation. Additional security measures have been put in place by the Indian Coast Guard and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to ensure a secure unloading process for the cargo, particularly the oil and coal being offloaded.

The unloading process at Paradip Port is being carefully managed, with oil being discharged from a single bore point into the sea. All security agencies, including the local maritime police, have been instructed to remain vigilant until the cargo is fully cleared.

All relevant agencies are on high alert, closely monitoring developments at Paradip to prevent any potential security breaches or unforeseen incidents.
