Helicopter glitch forces Union Minister Piyush Goyal to cancel aerial survey in Andhra Pradesh

Tirupati, June 16: Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal had to abandon plans for an aerial inspection of Kriscity, a newly proposed Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Andhra Pradesh, after a helicopter meant for the trip encountered a technical issue.

According to Tirupati district superintendent of police, V Harshavardhan Raju, the minister was informed about the snag while he was offering prayers at the Tiruchanoor temple.

“The aerial survey was cancelled due to a technical snag in the helicopter,” SP Raju.
