Baripada, August 8: In view of the incessant rainfall, the Mayurbhanj District Collector has declared a holiday for all schools in the district today.

As per the directive, all educational institutions from Class 1 to Class 12 will remain closed. The order also applies to all Anganwadi centres across the district.

The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the prevailing heavy rainfall and weather conditions in Mayurbhanj.
