Heatwave alert in Odisha for next four days: IMD

Bhubaneswar, May 10: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD ) has forecast heatwave conditions in parts of Odisha for the next four days.

Districts including Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Balangir, Boudh, and Sundargarh are likely to face a heatwave on May 11 and 12, with Kalahandi joining the list on May 13, and Angul and Nayagarh on May 14.

A Yellow warning has been issued.

Meanwhile, hot and humid weather is expected across coastal and interior districts like Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Khurda, Puri, and others during the same period.
