Similarly, the Kalahandi district administration has also implemented a leave cancellation for government employees on September 27 and 28. Staff members are required to stay at the headquarters and are not permitted to leave without prior authorization from the Collector.
This precautionary measure comes ahead of a depression in the Bay of Bengal, which is expected to make landfall between North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha on September 28. The depression is predicted to bring intense rainfall to the region. These steps are being taken to ensure effective disaster management and safeguard public safety in anticipation of the adverse weather conditions.
