Rourkela, Ap 9: The official report on the Rourkela plane accident has confirmed that the crash occurred due to a shortage of fuel.
According to the findings, the aircraft could not land at its intended destination because of insufficient fuel, forcing the pilot to make a forced landing.
The incident took place on January 10, when an India One flight departed from Bhubaneswar Airport heading to Rourkela. Onboard were the pilot, co-pilot, and four passengers. Before reaching Rourkela Airport, the plane crashed near Kansar village. Six seriously injured individuals were immediately admitted to the hospital.
Passenger Sunil Agrawal and his wife Sabita Agrawal were airlifted to Mumbai the following day for further treatment, while passenger Santosh Biswal tragically lost his life during treatment. The pilot, co-pilot, and another passenger recovered at a local hospital in Rourkela and have since returned home.
