Mumbai, May 7: Odia artist Prof. Dr. Ranjan Kumar Mallik has showcased his visual artefacts at ‘Dreamscapes’, a fine art exhibition in Mumbai that began on Tuesday.
The ‘Dreamscapes’ that encapusulates the dream of Dr. Mallik, crafted through his fine art, has been organized here at the Jahangir Art Gallery.
The ‘Dreamscapes’ fine art exhibition contains a slew of ardent creations of Dr. Mallik that gets global views for their exordinary themes, universal messages and intrinsic complexities, emerged out from his third eye. Among others, canvas- crafted portraits featuring moments with mother nature, views as a humanist, imaginary artforms evolving innovation and contemporary fine art compositions like novels and episodes of screenplays with utmost modern novelty, entice visitors and culture lovers over the exhibition.
The Dreamscapes fine art Exhibition which is solely dedicated to Russian avid writer & philosopher Nicholas Roerich, will be wrapped off on May 12.
Prof. Mallik who hails from Odisha’s Balasore district, is one of the global figures in the fraternity of cultural art. He obtained Batchelor of Fine Art (BFA) in painting from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar; MFA in Creative Painting & M. Phil in History of Art from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra. He was conferred Ph.D. in Jaina Art by Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodya Vishwavidyalaya. M. P. in the year 2014.
Prof. Mallik has presented more than 20 research papers on various topics of art and aesthetics in national and international Journals and Seminars along with 13 solo shows, participation 50 group exhibitions.
Prof. Dr. mallik has also edited three books and curated numerous National & International Art Events. An artist, educator, researcher and curator, Mallik has received numerous National & International awards and honours.
He had also served in the past as Faculty in Lalitkala Sansthan, Dr B R Ambedkar University, Agra, Academic Head, Arena Animation & Picasso Animation, New Delhi and HOD of School of Fine Arts at Amity University, Haryana.
Prof. Mallik is also a member of many National & International Academic & Industrial Organizations related to art & culture.
