Balasore, Dec 27: A Doctor in Odisha’s Balasore district was arrested on Friday for allegedly keeping a tiger hide with him.

The doctor is reportedly a Consultant of the Udala Hospital.

According to reports, the Forest Officials of Balasore took the doctor into custody following seizure of a tiger hide from his possession.

A case under the Wildlife Act was registered against the accused. He was remanded to judicial custody on the charges of peddling wildlife products after interrogation, said a forest official.
