Bhubaneswar, Jul 28: Former Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is set to visit Odisha for the first time after stepping down from the Union Cabinet. He is scheduled to arrive in Bhubaneswar from New Delhi on Tuesday and is expected to land at Biju Patnaik International Airport at around 11:00 a.m.

The Odisha BJP has made elaborate arrangements to welcome the senior party leader at the airport. According to party sources, the reception programme will be attended by senior BJP leaders, MLAs, MPs, and a large number of party workers.

Pradhan's visit comes a day after he marked his first public appearance following his resignation from the Union Cabinet. On Monday, the former Union Education Minister attended the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament in New Delhi.

During his arrival at Parliament, Pradhan was greeted by several BJP and NDA MPs, who welcomed him with slogans of "Dharmendra Pradhan Zindabad." The reception underscored his continued prominence within the party despite his exit from the Union Council of Ministers.

His Odisha visit is expected to draw significant political attention, as party leaders and workers gather to welcome him amid ongoing political developments in the state and at the national level.
