G. Udayagiri, Nov 7: Dense fog has engulfed G Udayagiri in Odisha's Kandhamal district, affecting visibility and disrupting normal traffic movement.

The region witnessed its first spell of dense fog this year, with thick fog covering G Udayagiri and Kalinga areas. Due to reduced visibility, commuters are facing difficulties while travelling on the roads.

Vehicular movement along Kalinga Ghat has also been affected, with traffic moving at a slower pace due to the foggy conditions. Road users are experiencing inconvenience as visibility has dropped considerably.

Meanwhile, a slight chill has also been felt in the region following the foggy conditions.

Local residents and intellectuals have advised commuters to exercise caution while travelling through fog-covered roads, drive slowly and maintain a safe distance to avoid accidents.
