Bhubaneswar, Oct 31: Bhubaneswar woke up to a thick blanket of fog on Saturday morning, as the transition from autumn to winter brought the first spell of fog to the city this season.

From roads and trees to buildings, almost every part of the state capital remained shrouded in a dense layer of fog during the early morning hours, significantly reducing visibility and obscuring the city's skyline.

The fog also had a slight impact on morning traffic, with commuters facing reduced visibility while travelling across the city.

Meanwhile, residents were seen enjoying the scenic beauty of the fog-covered morning, as the city presented a picturesque winter landscape.

With temperatures gradually dropping and winter setting in, similar foggy conditions are expected to become more frequent in the coming days.
