Tesla Opens Second India Showroom in Delhi
Tesla has officially opened its second showroom in India, expanding its physical presence with a new "Experience Centre" in Delhi's Aerocity. The launch gives customers in the capital a direct, hands-on experience with the brand's electric vehicles and technology, marking another key step in its gradual rollout across the country.
First Look Inside the Delhi Hub
The new showroom, located at Worldmark 3, prominently features the Model Y, the only Tesla model currently available in India. The space is designed to be immersive, allowing potential buyers to explore the vehicle's features and design up close. Importantly, the facility is also equipped with four of Tesla's latest V4 Supercharging units, offering fast DC charging to support the growing network for its customers.
Model Y Details and Pricing
The Model Y is available in two versions. The Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) variant is priced at ₹59.89 lakh, while the Long Range RWD model costs ₹67.89 lakh (both ex-showroom). For an additional ₹6 lakh, Tesla is also offering India’s first self-driving package, though some autonomous features will require government approval before they can be activated. The company has established a clear booking process, and deliveries for the RWD model are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2025.
This opening follows the launch of Tesla's first showroom in Mumbai last month and the inauguration of its first Supercharging station. Together, these moves show a deliberate strategy to build a solid sales and support infrastructure in key Indian cities before expanding further.
