Bhubaneswar, October 28: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Wednesday reviewed cyclone preparedness in Rayagada district, inspected temporary cyclone shelters and assessed the quality of food being provided to evacuees amid heavy rainfall in southern Odisha.

Parida, who was deputed to the district by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to supervise preparedness measures and monitor the situation, visited Sarupadu village under Derigam Gram Panchayat in Padmapur block to take stock of the arrangements.
