Bhubaneswar, Oct 29: In view of cyclonic conditions, the School and Mass Education Department has extended the last date for third phase slide-up admission for CT/D.El.Ed. courses for 2026-28 session by two days.

 “In view of the prevailing cyclonic conditions in some districts of Odisha, the last date for Third Phase Slide-up Admission for the CT / D.El.Ed. courses (2026-2028 session) has been extended by 2 days beyond the scheduled dates of 29-30 October 2026,” the department posted on X.

Several districts in Odisha have received heavy downpour under the impact of cyclone Arnab, leading to flooding in low-lying areas.

The southern districts including Ganjam and Gajapati remain affected by heavy rain, power disruption and transport issues.
