Kendrapara, June 9: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will visit Kendrapara district today. It will be his first official trip to the region since assuming office. His visit is expected to be a high-profile event, featuring a range of programmes and public engagements.
In preparation for the Chief Minister’s arrival, the district administration has been making detailed arrangements. A review meeting was held on Sunday under the leadership of Collector Smruti Ranjan Pradhan. The meeting was attended by key officials including Kendrapara MLA Dr. Durga Prasan Nayak, Additional Collector Rabindra Kumar Malik, and Sub-Collector Arun Kumar Nayak.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to land at the temporary helipad on the premises of Kendrapada Autonomous College. From there, he will be escorted to participate in the Triranga rally, which will begin at the Mausi Maa Temple and proceed to the Baldevjew Temple. Following the rally, he will offer prayers at the Baldevjew Temple before heading to Jajang Circle House for a review meeting.
The visit is seen as a morale booster for both the local population and party workers, who are eagerly awaiting the Chief Minister’s arrival. District officials are working diligently to ensure that the visit is well-organized and that all scheduled events proceed smoothly.
