Gandhinagar, August 17: In a tragic road mishap on Sunday, at least 7 people were killed in a car-SUV accident in Surendranagar district of Gujarat.
The accident occurred after a Swift Dzire hit a speeding Tata Harrier car violently and caught fire after a tremendous explosion that led to death of seven people onboard the vehicles, on the spot.
Locals, police and a 108 team rushed to the spot instantly and started rescue operations.
According to local police, "Seven persons travelling in the car were burnt alive while three in the SUV escaped with minor injuries following the incident near Dedadara village at around 3:30 PM,"
The injured ones are under treatment in the nearby hospital.
