Bhubaneswar, Jan 16: As the election comes closer, BJP has launched a ‘Kantha Likhan’ (wall-writing) campaign to sensitize the people about the party symbol ‘lotus' and Modi government's developmental programs.

BJP state president Manmohan Samal started “wall writing” campaign on Monday by drawing the party symbol 'lotus' on a wall in Ward 55 of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation( BMC) which comes under Ekamra Assembly constituency of Bhubaneswar.

This campaign aims to highlight the achievements of the Central government ahead of the general elections

On this occasion, Samal said “Through this campaign, we will appeal to the people to choose the lotus symbol in the upcoming election to get a double engine government in the state and at the center”

The BJP leader said Modi has emerged as a beacon of hope for all sections of society including youth, women, tribals, farmers, and the backward class.

Through this campaign, party workers will inform the voters about the steps taken by the Central government for their welfare in the last ten years, Samal added.
