His recent stint in Haryana has significantly boosted his standing within the party. Over the years, he has also played leading roles in election campaigns in Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and Uttarakhand.
This is not the first time Pradhan has been involved in Bihar politics. He served as co-incharge during the 2010 Bihar Assembly elections.
Bihar election will be a closely watched political contest, with all 243 seats in the State's Legislative Assembly electing their representatives.
The election will be fought on various issues ranging from development to law and order, pitting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's governance record against Tejashwi Yadav's social justice push.
