Bhadrak, May 21: In a shocking incident, a Plus III Commerce second-year student was found hanging inside the bathroom of his house under mysterious circumstances in Bhadrak town on Thursday, sparking tension and grief in the locality. The incident occurred in the Charampa Bazar area under Bhadrak Town police limits.
According to the student’s father, the youth had gone for his morning walk and returned home as usual. After spending some time talking with his father and other family members, he reportedly disappeared without a trace. Concerned, the family began searching the house and eventually found him hanging in the bathroom, allegedly with the help of a towel.
The deceased, a second-year Commerce student, reportedly had his hands tied from behind, and a piece of cloth was tied around his mouth, according to family members. They alleged that the circumstances of his death appeared suspicious and demanded a thorough investigation, suggesting the possibility that the student may have been murdered before being hanged.
Being informed, Bhadrak Town police reached the spot and recovered the body for further investigation. Authorities are examining all possible angles, including the allegations raised by the family. A scientific team is expected to inspect the scene, and the body will likely be sent for postmortem to determine the exact cause of death and whether foul play was involved.
