Puri, July 24: The Balanga burn victim is currently undergoing a crucial skin grafting procedure at AIIMS Delhi. The surgery, being led by a team of seven doctors under the supervision of Dr. Meena Singh, is expected to last between five to six hours. This follows an earlier successful skin transplant as part of her ongoing treatment.
In a parallel development, a Crime Branch team has arrived at the hospital to continue its investigation into the incident. With the victim’s father and brother present at the facility, officials may question them as part of the probe.
Authorities have yet to determine who was involved in the incident or the exact circumstances that led to the fire. Investigators are actively working to uncover how and why the fire was set. According to sources, the victim’s statement will be recorded again once her medical condition improves.
