New Delhi, Sept 22: Amazon has officially announced the date for its annual Great Indian Festival 2026 sale. The mega shopping event will begin on October 8, a day before Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale.
The Great Indian Festival will bring discounts across several categories, including smartphones, electronics, fashion, beauty products, home essentials and groceries. Amazon is also expected to offer additional benefits to Prime members.

While Amazon has not officially confirmed early access, Prime members are expected to get access to the sale ahead of non-Prime customers, following the company’s usual practice for major sales.
Prime members may also benefit from faster delivery on eligible products, depending on the item and delivery location.

Amazon has teased several payment offers for the upcoming sale. Customers can get a 10 percent instant discount on SBI credit and debit card transactions, including eligible EMI purchases.
Prime members can also receive up to an additional 10 percent discount on eligible purchases during the sale.
The shopping event will feature limited-time promotions such as Blockbuster Deals, Top 100 Deals, Mega Deals, 8 PM Deals, Buy More Save More, Exchange Mela, Sample Mania and Amazon Combos. Customers can also access no-cost EMI and exchange offers across various categories.
Amazon has not yet revealed product-specific deals. Discounts on smartphones, laptops and other electronics are expected to be announced closer to the sale.
Popular smartphones that shoppers may watch for include the OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15R, OnePlus Nord 6, Nord CE 6, iQOO 15, iQOO 15R, iQOO Z11 and iQOO Z11x.
Customers looking for premium smartphones may also keep an eye on potential price cuts for models such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, while iPhone buyers could watch for offers on the iPhone 16 series.
