Mumbai, June 4: Veteran actor Anupam Kher is set to embark on a new chapter beyond cinema with the launch of ‘AntarAkt’, a life coaching initiative that he says is rooted in the lessons he has learned throughout his life and career.

Kher revealed that he has been working on the concept for more than a decade. Describing it as “The Alignment Project: From Chaos to Clarity,” he said the programme aims to help individuals navigate personal and professional challenges through practical life lessons and self-awareness.

“I am announcing it for the first time. I am starting a life coaching concept called ‘AntarAkt’. It will also include physical classes. I have been working on it for the last 12 to 13 years. Whatever I have learned from life, I have tried to incorporate into this project,” Kher said, adding that the initiative will be launched soon.

Known for his inspiring life story and remarkable journey in Indian cinema, Kher said the project reflects his experiences, struggles, achievements, and personal growth over the years.

Meanwhile, the actor recently took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as he marked the anniversary of his debut film, Saaransh, which was released on May 25, 1984.

In an emotional post on Instagram, Kher described the film as the most defining chapter of his life. Reflecting on his four-decade-long career, he recalled the struggles, successes, failures, friendships, and memories that shaped his journey in the entertainment industry.

The actor expressed gratitude to filmmakers, producers, writers, technicians, co-stars, and audiences who supported him throughout his career. He also thanked Rajshri Productions for giving a newcomer like him an opportunity and acknowledged filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt for casting him in a role that transformed his life.

Crediting ‘Saaransh’ for his success, Kher said the film helped him realize his dreams, taking him from a small-town boy from Shimla to one of India's most respected actors.

“Whatever I am today is because of ‘Saaransh’. From a small-town boy from Shimla to a man who got to live his dream. I can only say God is kind,” he wrote.
