Cuttack, Jan 19: An LPG pipeline ruptured near CDA 10 market in Cuttack on Thursday, triggering panic among local residents. The incident occurred during road repair work, when digging and tree-cutting activities accidentally damaged the underground gas line.

The leak caused gas to escape and rise into the air, prompting immediate action. Firefighters and personnel from the gas company (GAIL) rushed to the site and began repair operations. Fortunately, the situation was brought under control quickly, and a major accident was averted.

Local authorities have urged residents to stay calm and avoid the area until the pipeline is fully restored.
