Srinagar, April 24: An all-party meeting chaired by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah unanimously passed a resolution condemning the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed the lives of innocent civilians.
Expressing grief and outrage, CM Abdullah called the attack “a direct assault on Kashmiriyat and the idea of India,” and emphasized the region’s collective commitment to peace and justice.
The resolution praised the bravery of horse rider Shahid Syed Adil Hussain Shah, who died while trying to save tourists, and extended condolences to the victims' families.
The meeting urged all political, social, and religious groups to maintain harmony and support Kashmiri citizens across the country, while backing steps taken by the Union Government to address the situation.
