Bhubaneswar, Dec 2: At least 3 persons were killed after a car in which they were traveling hit a stationary truck on NH 16 near Pahala, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar at around 3am today.
The identities of the deceased have yet to be ascertained,. Sources said, the car coming from Cuttack hit stationary truck from rear in front of the Utkal Hyundai near Pahala. Being informed, Pahala Fire Services unit reached the spot and recovered three persons from the mangled vehicle. They were immediately shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack where doctors declared them.
Further investigation is underway.
