New Delhi, August 20: At least 3 significant bills were moved in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday centering removal of the PM, CMs and tinted Ministers, amid a stormy session due to the SIR row.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah moved the Bills in Lok Sabha for removal of the prime minister, chief ministers, and ministers arrested on serious criminal charges for 30 days.
The tabling faced fierce protests by the Opposition MPs, who were in favour of pausing it from the very beginning.
Impervious Shah faced every challenge and oppositions’ criticism who said that the bills are not the final ones. They would be sent to the Joint Committee of Parliament, where members of both Houses, including the Opposition, would get an opportunity to study, analyse and depict their views-both convergently and divergently.
