Mumbai, October 30:The much-awaited trailer of Shraddha Kapoor-starrer 'Eetha' was unveiled on Friday, offering a glimpse into an epic musical drama inspired by the life of legendary Lavani artist Eetha Bai.

The film chronicles the extraordinary journey of a woman, Eetha Bai, who challenged social conventions, overcame hardships and carved a lasting place in history through her art. The trailer showcases the vibrant world of Lavani, featuring striking visuals, evocative music and powerful emotions.

Film producer Dinesh Vijan said, "One of the most exciting things about cinema is that every once in a while, you come across a story so extraordinary that you wonder why the world doesn't already know about it. For me, Eetha was one of those stories. When I first heard it, I was fascinated not just by the incredible world of Lavani — its music, its rhythm, its energy and its larger-than-life characters — but by the extraordinary women who brought this art form to life."

Shraddha Kapoor, who plays Eetha Bai in the film, described the role as an exciting experience, highlighting the character's courage, individuality and artistic legacy. She also said she felt increasingly connected to the character and her world as she prepared for the role.

Director Laxman Utekar said that following the blockbuster success of 'Chhaava', which became a major cinematic spectacle, he wanted audiences to experience a completely different world through 'Eetha' — the story of an artist who became a legacy.

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Laxman Utekar, 'Eetha' is presented by Maddock Films and Kathputli Creations. (ANI)
