Bajaj upgrades its iconic 150cc motorcycle with premium technology.

Bajaj Auto has introduced the new-generation 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150 to the Indian market, bringing significant hardware and technology upgrades to the popular commuter bike. Priced between Rs 1.15 lakh and Rs 1.23 lakh ex-showroom in Delhi, this 150cc motorcycle now offers enhanced torque, revised suspension, and modern digital instrumentation. The launch marks a major evolution for the Pulsar lineup, which has dominated the Indian two-wheeler segment since its initial debut over two decades ago.

Performance and Hardware

Engineers tweaked the familiar 149.5cc engine to produce 14 bhp at 8,000 rpm and an increased 14.1 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Riders will experience the same peak power as before, but it now kicks in at a lower engine speed. Chassis improvements stand out prominently in this iteration. Front telescopic forks now measure 33mm with 125mm of travel. At the rear, Bajaj replaced the old twin shock absorbers with a modern monoshock setup offering 110mm of travel. Braking relies on a 260mm front disc, while buyers can select either a 130mm rear drum or a 230mm rear disc, paired with single-channel ABS.

Premium Connectivity

Riders receive a major technology boost across all variants. Base models feature a fully digital LCD screen. Higher trims gain a 5-inch TFT display equipped with Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation. Top-spec versions integrate Wi-Fi connectivity and Google Maps. Furthermore, modern USB Type-C charging replaces the older Type-A port.

Pricing and Design

Buyers can choose from three distinct configurations. Base single-seat models cost Rs 1,15,233, while the dual-disc TFT variant is priced at Rs 1,22,184. Top-tier split-seat versions demand Rs 1,23,187. Fresh lighting upgrades include Class-B LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, and LED indicators.
