Anandapur, Aug 3: A youth was arrested for allegedly posting a video containing objectionable remarks against the Chief Minister on his Facebook page. The accused, identified as Sushant Das of Ichhapur village under Nandipada Police Station in Anandapur subdivision, was taken into custody by police following a complaint.

According to reports, Sushant had uploaded a video on his Facebook page in which he allegedly made indecent comments against the Chief Minister. The post reportedly triggered resentment among local residents.

Following the incident, Kanhai Charan Das, a resident of Kaligaon, lodged a written complaint at the Nandipada Police Station. Acting on the complaint, police registered a case and arrested Sushant Das.

The accused was later produced before a court, police sources said.
