Digapahandi, May 3: In a tragic incident, a young woman lost her life after being bitten by a highly venomous snake in Talasingi village under Digpahandi block, Ganjam district.

The deceased, Sriti Goud, daughter of Nilanchal Goud, was taking rest after her evening meal when the snake attacked her.

Despite being rushed to a medical facility, Sriti could not be saved due to the potency of the venom.

The incident has cast a shadow of grief over the local community, leaving residents deeply shocked and mourning the untimely death of the young woman.
