Volkswagen Taigun facelift brings premium styling and improved automatic performance
Volkswagen India has officially pulled the covers off the 2026 Taigun facelift, introducing a fresh aesthetic and a mechanical upgrade for its 1.0-litre TSI engine.
Visual changes include a sleeker front grille integrated with a continuous LED light bar and an illuminated Volkswagen logo. The revised bumpers and new C-shaped LED tail lamps give the vehicle a more aggressive stance on the road. Inside, the cabin receives a tech-heavy boost with a 10.1-inch infotainment system and a "Hello Volkswagen" AI voice assistant. Additionally, the SUV now features a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and a six-way powered driver seat, addressing previous gaps in its luxury profile.
Mechanical options remain familiar but refined. The 1.0-litre TSI motor produces 115 hp, while the high-performance 1.5-litre TSI engine continues to deliver 150 hp with active cylinder technology.
Safety remains a priority with six airbags and a five-star GNCAP rating as standard across most variants.
