Will NIA grill Odisha-based YouTuber Priyanka on her alliance with Jyoti Malhotra?

Bhubanewar, May 19: At a time when ‘Travel With Jo’ tours & travel vlog is under the NIA’s scanner and its host Jyoti Malhotra is in NIA custody on spying charges, Odia YouTuber from Puri Priyanka Senapati has landed in the soup, for her link with Jyoti. 

Priyanka was grilled by the Puri Police and Intelligence sleuths on Sunday regarding her connection with the Haryana-based Vlogger Jyoti Malhotra.

According to the Puri SP, Priyanka was quizzed at her residence for her alleged relations with Jyoti for more than a year. She was also interrogated about her visit to Kartarpur in Pakistan after meeting Jyoti at Hisar in Haryana.

According to the SP, Priyanka co-operated in the probe. However, she was asked not to leave Puri till further instruction in this regard.

The SP’s instructions to Priyanka indicate that she might be grilled by other investigation agencies. Possibly the NIA team that is probing the espionage case of Jyoti in Haryana will grill Priyanka in this connection.

According to sources, the NIA team will verify the images and video footages that were recorded in Pakistan and Puri involving Jyoti Malhotra. Apart from it the NIA sleuths might work out on it, if Jyoti has shared any intelligence related information regarding the Puri Jagannath temple with Pakistan ISI or any other agencies.

Meanwhile, Jyoti in her confession before the Hisar Police elaborated on her intimacy with Odisha’s YouTuber Priyanka and their joint visit to Pakistan through the Kartarpur Corridor.

According to Jyoti, she had visited Puri to meet Priyanka in September 2024.

Worth mentioning, ‘Travel with Jo’ craze, ace YouTuber & Vlogger Jyoti Malhotra had reportedly vlogged on Puri Jagannath Temple.

Jyoti’s Puri visit and her vlog on Puri came to fore on Saturday when the popular vlogger was held by the Haryana Police on the charges of spying for Pakistan operatives especially for the act of sharing location maps of significant landscapes of India.

A few hours to the arrest of Jyoti, photographs and videos featuring her signature in the Puri Grand Road, loitering in & around the Shree Jagannath Temple and even capturing the images of sealike crowd in the golden seabeach here, came to the spot light.
