
Angul, Sept 16: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is set to visit Angul, today for a day-long tour aimed at reviewing and inaugurating various development initiatives across the district.
The visit will kick off with Pradhan attending the RPDSC meeting organized by Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) at the District Collector’s office. The meeting will focus on regional development and resource allocation to enhance local growth.
Next on his itinerary, Pradhan will participate in a District Mineral Foundation (DMF) meeting, where he will evaluate ongoing and upcoming welfare projects and infrastructure development aimed at bolstering the district’s economic growth.
A key highlight of the visit will be the inauguration of the newly built office of the Regional Chief Conservator of Forests (RCCF). This initiative is expected to improve forest management and conservation efforts in the region.
The Union Minister will then proceed to visit the Aluminium Park, where he will review the park’s industrial progress and discuss future expansion plans. The park plays a significant role in providing employment and driving economic activity in the area.
In the afternoon, Pradhan will head to Talcher to visit the Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Medical College, where he will inspect the medical and educational facilities. His visit will include discussions with faculty and students to assess the standards of healthcare and education.
Preparations for the visit have been made by the district administration and BJP party workers, with comprehensive security and logistics in place to ensure a smooth and successful visit.
