Burla, Aug 14: In a significant move, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) has implemented a dress code for the first year students.
This is the first time that a uniform policy has been implemented for students. The uniform will be mandatory for all first-year students admitted for the academic session of 2025-2026. However, postgraduate (PG) and PhD students have been exempted from this rule.
For male students, the dress code will consist of formal pants and shirts, while female students will be required to wear salwar kameez along with a compulsory waistcoat. In terms of safety, female students will also be required to wear a dupatta as part of the dress code.
The color scheme for the uniform has been finalized as navy blue for pants, salwar, and waistcoats, while the shirt will be blue. This dress code has been implemented to maintain uniformity and discipline across the campus.
